This is a sword I made from scratch for a Monster Hunter World dual blade skin. The original concept is inspired by Mipha's trident from Zelda BotW and I drew it in Paintstorm Studio. I then started to model it in 3DS Max (Low Poly to High Poly pipeline) and then I went in Substance Painter to bake the high poly on the model, textures were also done in Painter in PBR in the artstyle of Monster Hunter World.
I also learned and went trough the process of taking my model into the game via modding and replacing a weapon visual in game. It was a lot of search and manipulation of files and data.
